From May 17th to 21st, 2023, the artist participated in the international art fair “VOLTA New York” held in New York, USA.
This art fair is characterized by its “affordable price range” and “unpretentious atmosphere” among New York’s art fairs, attracting 48 galleries from around the world. As soon as the doors opened, the venue was flooded with guests, bustling with international conversations—a true festival of arts connecting artists and art enthusiasts.
The booth, shared with four Japanese artists, was also bustling with many visitors. Especially after exhibiting at the “SCOPE Art Show MIAMI BEACH 2022” in December and holding a solo exhibition in NY in April, our works, characterized by the pure and serene essence of Yamato-e, were particularly well-received at this venue, resulting in the sale of two pieces, effectively marking the culmination of our recent activities in the USA.
